Bianca Islas (she/her/hers) is a Las Vegas-born native and nationally recognized SVA Warrior Leader and SPY-6 Scholar. She has dedicated countless hours to community service efforts, aiming to impact the needs of local veterans. She has also dedicated her academic pursuits at CSN, NSU, and UNLV to research post-traumatic stress disorder and moral injury.

Before coming to CSHAW, Bianca was a neuropsychological trainee in the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System Neurology clinic. Bianca is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at UNLV and is working under the supervision of Dr. Jordan Soper at the Center for Sexual Health and Wellness. Bianca has experience treating anxiety and mood disorders, lifetime trauma, addictive disorders, insomnia, and moral injury.
